Our Story

Nick and Christie started their grill company, Urban Asado, out of their garage in 2014. The concept was simple: Experience Grilling. All of the sights, sounds, and aromas of live fire grilling immediately captivate you. Turn off thoughts of work, or whatever, and just enjoy the moment with friends and loved ones. The thing was, it never felt natural just describing it. It was all about experiencing it for yourself.

Urban Asado began hosting pop-ups and live-fire grilling demonstrations as a way to support local charities and fundraising efforts. Having just launched the business and weathered two hurricanes within the first ten months, Urban Asado wasn't yet in a position to make monetary donations. Instead, the team gave back by sharing what they were most passionate about: live-fire cooking and bringing people together.

Some of those early pop-ups took place in parking lots, while others were held in overgrown fields. Looking back, those humble beginnings introduced Urban Asado to some of the most incredible people in the community. Each experience helped pave the way to where we are now.

Asado Life is more than a place to eat. We hope to create memorable experiences between friends & family that last long after the meal. We hope to create a sense of community. And, we hope to make our guests happy."
